Emayian Widows Program
We understand the profound grief and loneliness that widows experience.
We bring these women together, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Through workshops and training, we empower them with essential life skills:
Legal awareness: We educate them on their rights, ensuring they can navigate legal challenges and claim their rightful inheritance.
Financial literacy:We equip them with the knowledge and tools to manage their finances and build a secure future.
Income generation:We offer skills training, empowering them to become self-sufficient through income-generating activities.
Many rely heavily on their children for survival, leading to scarce resources and deep poverty.
We've established 7 self-help groups, each comprising 20-25 widows. Our vision is to transform lives through beekeeping. Providing each group with five beehives empowers these women to work collaboratively and generate sustainable income.
